I went to a garden today. I've been scoping out locations for my big fashion photoshoot that I keep promising, but with this dingy weather, it keeps getting pushed back and back.
Oh well, today I got to play around with some lovely nature shots. This garden is so well-designed, you could fling your arm sideways while madly clicking the shutter and still get a good picture.
This is me playing around with a neutral density filter and HDR imaging. This one was 18 different photos, all taken with a 4.0 aperture and different shutterspeeds and an ND filter. It was interesting, as I was slowly adjusting the shutterspeed to see the water slowly come into focus, from misty white to dark and clear. The speeds ranged from 1/2 second to 1/80.
